Charles Ekanem

Hello there! I'm Charles Ekanem, a final-year Computer Engineering student at Nile University of Nigeria. I have interests in embedded systems, smart devices, machine learning and AI solutions tailored to Nigerian contexts. I am also building ANT Research and Development Lab to promote innovative tech research and development tools. I'm passionate about building smart systems that combine hardware innovation and software intelligence.

TicTacToe Game (Python)

A classic 2-player game developed with the Waterfall model. Implemented logic to allow turns and input validation, employed use of TKinter GUI.

Voice Noise Reduction

Enhanced speech clarity in Nigerian urban noise using a custom built CNN-BiLSTM-Attention-Residual (CBAR) Model. Developed a custom hybrid dataset with real world Nigerian urban noise (chatter, generator, traffic).

An ultrasonic sensor-based contactless smart waste bin using Arduino. Using an ultrasonic sensor for input and servo motor as actuator, the servo lifts the lid when an object is detected at a distance.
